DRDO Recruitment 2021: Vacancies released for Apprentice post; know who can apply

Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO has released a job opportunity for the post of Apprentice for Defence Electronics Application Laboratory. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form through the official website—apprenticeshipindia.org.

The application form can be submitted on or before March 12, 2021.

Under this recruitment drive, DRDO will fill a total of 71 posts.

• Diploma Apprentice Trainees: 24 Posts
• ITI Apprentice Trainees: 47 Posts

Eligibility Criteria Required for DRDO:
Educational Qualification:

Diploma Apprentice Trainees: Candidates who hold a diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council of Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government/ by a University/ by an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma.

ITI Apprentice Trainees:

Candidates who have qualified class 10th standard or equivalent with Science subject under 10+2 education system can apply for the post.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit required to apply for the post is 18 years and the maximum age limit for the post is 27 years.

Candidates should fulfill the health criteria. Selected candidates will have to show their Fitness certificate as per the standard format issued by the authorized Medical Officer of any government hospital. Aspirants who will be selected for the apprenticeship training would be eligible for the stipend.
