UP Police Recruitment 2021: Alert! 9,534 vacancies released for SI and other posts; check salary details

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB or UPPBPB) has invited application forms for SI/PC and other posts. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms on or before April 30.

UPPRPB has released a job notification for the recruitment to the post of SI/PC and other positions. The online application process will start on April 1. Interested candidates can read the official notification at uppbpb.gov.in.

According to the notification, the selected candidates in UP SI Recruitment 2021 will get a salary of Rs 9300 to Rs 34,800 along with grade pay of Rs 4200 per month.

Total post 9,534 vacancies

Out of the total vacancies, UPPRPB released 3,613 vacancies for the unreserved post, 902 posts are reserved for EWS, 2437 vacancies for OBC, and 1895 SC, 180 ST categories.

UP Police SI Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the post of SI in Civil Police and Platoon Commander (PAC), candidates should be graduate in any discipline.

For the second officer of fire fighting, candidates should be graduate in the science stream.

Age criteria

The minimum age limit required to apply for the post is 21 years while the maximum age limit is 28 years. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC category of Uttar Pradesh will be given relaxation in the age limit as per rules.
