CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Result 2021: Board to adopt this formula for evaluation of intermediate marks

CBSE Class 12th Result 2021: After cancelling CBSE Class 12th Board Exams, the Centre on Thursday informed the Supreme Court of India about the marking formula for the CBSE intermediate results.

The central govt told the apex court that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will adopt the 30:30:40 formula for the evaluation of marks of CBSE Class 12th students.

The marks will be based on the results of students’ Class 10, 11, and 12 scores.

It means CBSE will now prepare the Class 12th exam result based on student’s performance in the finals of classes 10 and 11 exams and class 12 pre-board exams, The Times Of India report said.

"For evaluating a student, his marks in best of three papers for class 10 would be given 30% weightage, for class 11 weightage of 30% and for class 12 the weightage is 40%," said Attorney general (AG) KK Venugopal.
