CLAT Exam Dates 2021: Official schedule out! LLM candidates should check this latest update
CLAT 2021: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has finally announced the exam date for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 on its official website.
Candidates who have applied for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes can check the official schedule for the exam at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Earlier, CLAT 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on June 13 but was postponed due to the surge in Coronavirus cases across the country.
Now, NLUs will conduct the exam on July 23 from 2 pm to 4 pm for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes.
According to an official notification, “The CLAT 2021 will be a pen and paper exam conducted at centres with all COVID 19 safety protocols being observed. 3. Candidates for the LLM programme in CLAT 2021 are hereby informed that the examination will include only 120 MCQs to be answered in 120 minutes. There will be no descriptive section in CLAT 2021.”

For candidates who have applied for LLM programmes, their examination will include only 120 MCQs that are to be answered in 120 minutes.
In view of avoiding longer travel to the exam centres, applicants would get another chance to revisit their preferences after the last date of submission of application forms. The consortium is expected to adjust the first or second preferences of the test centre.

CLAT exam is held for those who want to pursue a career in law and legal justice. Scores obtained in the CLAT exam are accepted for UG/PG courses offered by all National Law Universities (NLU’s) except NLU Delhi.
