Online Reporting Process
During online reporting, students must first download their initial seat allocation information slip. Then, they need to choose their counselling options (freeze, float, or slide) to proceed to the next round of counselling. Students need to upload required documents, including 10th and 12th mark sheets, caste certificates, and medical certificates. The final step is to pay the seat acceptance fee, which can be done through debit card, credit card, net banking, or SBI challan. The fee is Rs 35,000 for general, EWS, and OBC categories, and Rs 17,500 for SC-ST and physically disabled students.
State of Eligibility Proof
Students who have chosen NIT colleges in JoSAA counselling need to upload their 12th board pass certificate or mark sheet as proof of eligibility. Those who have only chosen IIT colleges do not need to provide this proof.
Open-Round Allocation
In the first round of seat allocation, all students have been allocated seats based on their college preference list, first on the basis of open rank, and then based on category rank.
