World's heaviest cricketer Rahkeem Cornwall makes history with debut against India

West Indies cricketer Rahkeem Cornwall got his maiden Test cap today before the second match against India in Jamaica. Rahkeem Cornwall is currently the world’s heaviest international cricketer and he is also the heaviest ever to play the game of cricket.

Rahkeem was included in the Test squad for India’s tour of West Indies but did not play in the first XI during the first match which the Caribbean team lost by 318 runs. Rahkeem got his debut Test cap on August 30 for the second Test against India.

Rahkeem is just 26-years of age and he weighs 143 kilograms, surpassing former Australian captain Warwick Armstrong who weighed 139 kg. Cornwall is an all-rounder who can hit sixes at will and get some sharp turn with his off-spin.

West Indies captain Jason Holder won the toss and asked the Indian skipper Virat Kohli to bat first. West Indies is playing two debutants in the form of Rahkeem Cornwall who replaced Miguel Cummins and Jahmar Hamilton who is playing in place of Shai Hope.
