Ben Stokes reveals his favourite football team in Premier League
Ben Stokes led England to a dramatic victory over Australia at Headingley on Sunday. Born in New Zealand, Ben Stokes took to his official Twitter handle to disclose his love for football, he stated that he has never loved football enough to adopt a team but said he had owned a Spurs top as a boy.
Newcastle gaffer Steve Bruce played a joke saying that he was ready to play Ben Stokes as a centre back after the all-rounder’s brilliant hundred spurred England to victory in the third Ashes Test.

But if Ben Stokes is going to feature for any club, it’s going to be Tottenham.
"Never supported a club, always wanted to but never loved football enough really, my first ever football top was actually a Tottenham one, it was the blue and yellow kit with Thomson on the front. But after getting sent this I guess I’m now officially a Spurs fan,” Stokes tweeted.
Ben Stokes captivated the country with his scintillating 135 not out, but lost some of his fan following after his latest disclosure.
"Hero to zero in one tweet,” Chelsea fan tweeted.
"Ben lad, your knighthood hangs in the balance here," shared Manchester United fan Jed.
