Virat Kohli not worried about Shikhar Dhawan and Bhuvneswar Kumar's absence from the second Test; Details inside

The first Test match between India and Sri Lanka of three-match series was a dramatic draw at the Eden Gardens Kolkata. Even though the men-in-blue did not win the first Test match yet the cricket fans of India celebrated the match because the Indian skipper Virat Kohli listed himself in the elite club of world's greatest cricketers. Virat Kohli completed his 50th International century (Test-18, ODI-32, T20-0) at the Eden Gardens and by doing so he becomes world's 8th overall cricketer who has the maximum number of centuries on their name.

The second Test match between India and Sri Lanka would be played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Ahead of the second Test the explosive Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan and Bhuvneswar Kumar were released from the Indian squad due to personal reasons.

Ahead of the second match while talking about their absence the 'run machine' of Indian team Virat Kohli confessed that he is not worried about their absence.

As per reports in Crickbuzz Virat Kohli said, “Not difficult at all because we pick a squad keeping in mind that all 15 are equipped with what is required to perform at the international level. These kinds of scenarios where two guys miss out for personal reasons is an opportunity for the guys who get games in these situations. I am not worried at all. I am very confident of the ability of the guys who will step in and they are looking at this as an opportunity to go out and do well for the team which everyone likes to do. I am not bothered. Obviously those two guys have made an impact in a lot of games for us. As I said, it provides an opportunity for others stepping in.”
