'To hell with your two points,' Paresh Rawal targets Sachin Tendulkar in his latest Tweet

Actor-politician Paresh Rawal is the latest to join the India-Pakistan World Cup match controversy. Rawal has said that India should not play Pakistan in 2019 World Cup after Pulwama terror attack. Paresh Rawal Tweeted, “To hell with ICC fine and to hell with loosing two points and if it comes to not playing World Cup TO HELL WITH IT ! Country comes first not cricket!”

Some players from cricketer fraternity including Sachin Tendulkar have spoken against any boycott of Pakistan in World Cup. Sachin Tendulkar had said that he would “hate” to see India give away two points to Pakistan by not playing them in the World Cup as such a act would only help the arch-rivals in the mega event. India would forfeit the match points if they boycott Pakistan in the group stage.

Rivalry between India and Pakistan in cricket is world famous and in this year’s World Cup they will clash against each other on June 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester. However, Indian fans and some former cricketers are not happy after 40 CRPF jawans were killed in a terrorist attack in Pulwama. They are urging BCCI to not play against Pakistan is World Cup.

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy of 78 vehicles carrying 2,547 soldiers was attacked by a car bomb in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on February 14. More than 40 CRPF jawans were killed and many others were injured. This is termed as the worst attack on Indian soldiers since 1989 insurgency started in the valley.
