Sachin Tendulkar retirement special: This day that year, when 'Master Blaster' touched and felt the Wankhede ground with tears in his eyes

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, the legendary cricketer of India, who created history with his bat in International cricket is considered the 'god of cricket' because his feats are considered as unachievable. The cricketer has so many historical records to his name, be it the first batter to score a double ton in a One Day International match or to hit a century of the centuries in all formats (51 in Test, 49 in ODI).

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is also called 'Sachin', 'God of Cricket', 'Master Blaster' and 'Tendlya'. The former explosive batsman's retirement from International cricket after two decades of playing for India is not something that Indian fans can erase from their memory. Sachin started his journey from becoming good to greatest on 15 November 1989. The former Indian cricketer played his last International match against West Indies team in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Sachin's last International match was also his 200th Test. In October 2013, the little master of cricket announced his retirement from T20 International and he announced his retirement from ODI in December 2012.

Today is the fourth anniversary of Sachin Tendulkar's retirement from cricket in all format, and on this occasion here is the list of records made by the legendary batsman.

1- In 200 International Test match, Sachin had played 329 innings and scored 15921 runs with an average of 53.79.

2- In his Test career, Tendulkar hit 51 hundred and six double ton, his highest score was 248 runs.

3- In One Day International, Tendulkar has hit 49 centuries in 463 matches and scored 18426 runs with an average of 44.83.

4- Sachin Tendulkar made his International debut just at the age 16 years, and even today he is the youngest cricketer to represent in India in International cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar played his last International match against West Indies in two-match Test series. Even though the cricketer was not able to hit a century in his last match yet he finished his career in a grand way as the men-in-blue won the Test within three days. Before leaving the ground of Wankhede stadium he went to the ground he touched it and felt it for the last time and when he came back there were tears in his eyes.
