Indian pacer Ishant Sharma and spinner Ravindra Jadeja were caught arguing on the field during Australia’s second innings on Day 4 in Perth. Ravindra Jadeja was called in as a substitute fielder when Ishant and Jadeja got into a fight during the drinks break in between the overs. Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami had to step in to separate the duo.
The video of the duo fighting with each other has since gone viral on social media and fans aren’t loving it. Some of them even blamed the infighting in the team for India’s loss at the Perth Stadium today.
India is currently playing a Test series in Australia where the visitors won the first Test by 31 runs but was thrashed by the host in the second Test in Perth by 146 runs. The four match Test series is now leveled at 1-1. The Boxing Day Test will be played from December 26 in Melbourne Cricket Ground for which Mayank Agarwal and Hardik Pandya has been called in. Mayank will replace injured Prithvi Shaw, who twisted his ankle in a practice match against Cricket Australia XI.
India and Australia will also play a three-match ODI series starting from January 12 and the first match will be played in the Sydney Cricket Ground. The match will be telecast from 7:50 am Indian Standard Time and 1:20 pm local time. The third and the final ODI will be played on January 18 in Melbourne Cricket Ground or MCG.
