Naseeruddin Shah slams Virat Kohli for his on-field behaviour and attacked him for his 'leave India' comment
Bollywood legend Naseeruddin Shah slammed Virat Kohli for his bad behaviour in the on going Test series in Australia. Naseeruddin took to social media platform Facebook to criticise Kohli, where he wrote, “Virat K is not only the worlds best batsman but also the worlds worst behaved player. His cricketing brilliance pales beside his arrogance and bad manners.. And I have no intention of leaving the country by the way.” Shah’s ‘leaving the country’ remark came after Virat Kohli recently in a promotional live video asked a cricket fan to leave the country if he likes English players more than their Indian counterparts.
While most people attacked Naseeruddin for his comment on the Indian skipper many also agreed with him on this. Kohli is currently playing a Test series in Australia, where he slammed his 25th Test century.
After coming to bat India lost early wickets in KL Rahul, who went for a duck after giving a streak of poor performances in the series. Then Cheteshwar Pujara went for 4 runs when he was caught behind off Hazalewood’s ball. Then came the big moment for Australians, when skipper Virat Kohli gave his wicket in Lyon’s ball to Usman Khawaja. Kohli was playing a 17 off 40 balls.
India trailing at 55 runs lost Murali Vijay in the 21st over when he was bowled out by in form Nathan Lyon and Ajinkya Rahane was sent off the field by Hazlewood after making 30 off 47 balls when India was at 98 runs.
Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant will be on the pitch tomorrow on Day 5 when India will come to bat. India is currently trailing behind 175 runs while Australia needs 5 more wickets to win the match.
In the first innings Australia made 326 runs while India were all-out for 283, thanks to Virat Kohli’s 25th Test century. Australia in their second innings made 243 runs, with Usman Khawaja making 72 off 213 balls.
