Because of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 being held in May-June next year, the Indian Premier League has been preponed by Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) to March for its 2019 edition. It is being predicted that because of Lok sabha elections in 2019 the IPL could be shifted to some other country. The auction for the IPL 2019 is scheduled for Tomorrow, that is December 18. This time IPL franchises could spend crores on this five new players.
Reeza Hendricks
The South African right-handed middle order batsman who plays for Highveld Lions made his century in 2017 against Dolphins where he was 102 not out. Apart form this, his performance in Mzansi Super League is also worth remembering, in which Reeza has hit two consecutive centuries.
Oshane Thomas
This 21-year-old bowler from West Indies have attracted everyone by his fast bowling skils. In a match played against India in October this year he have bowled consecutive 150/km plus balls. He troubled India’s opening duo Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan a lot with his fast bowling.
Shimron Hetmyer
West Indies player Shimron Hetmyer could attract a lot of franchises in IPL 2019 and can spark a bidding war. He made his debut in 2016 Caribbean Premier League and became the youngest player to score a century in CPL. In 2018, Cricket West Indies awarded him a red-ball contract and he played against India in the Test series in October this year.
Hazratullah Zazai
This young Afghan prodigy who made his T-20 debut against UAE was drafted in Bangladesh Premier League franchise Dhaka Dynamite in October this year. Recently he was in news for hitting six sixes in an over in T-10 league played in UAE and also made a half-century in just 12 balls in the same league.
Nicholas Puran
The list includes another West Indies player Nicholas Puran who have played amazingly in the recently concluded T-10 league, apart from that he is also a wicket-keeper and is known for his power hitting performances. In 2019 IPL auction he could be a favorite for the franchises.
