Martin Guptill

Martin Guptill:

Guptill has always been deemed as one of the most fiery opener in cricket but his lack of ability to perform in the IPL has been a major set back. With 270 runs from 13 matches, his impact has been very minimal and that is the reason why he didn’t find any bidders during the auction.

The West Indies international has been the main force for is team in almost all formats. Hope, who had a base price of Rs 50 lakh, not long ago knocked a century in the first ODI against India in Chennai on Sunday but that did not proved to be enough to make him a lucrative option for the teams.
