Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Sacred Games co-star Kubra Sait defends him after MeToo allegations
Versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the most recent name being taken in the MeToo allegation row. The actor's ex-girlfriend and former Miss India Niharika Singh expressed her ordeal of sexual harassement she went through while being in a relationship with Siddiqui in a series of tweets shared by journalist Sandhya Mennon on Twitter.
Siddiqui's co-actor Kubra Sait has backed the actor stating on Twitter, “A relationship gone sour, isn’t #MeToo someone needs to recognise the toxic difference before we go picking sides. I stand by #NawazuddinSiddiqui or #Nowaz as a man,”
Kubra further said she stood by the fact that Niharika Singh “may have had a tough time in the industry”. “I stand by the fact that although Niharika Singh may have had a tough time in the industry, categorising her once personal relationship as a #MeToo statement is incorrectly placed. We as humans are flawed. That isn’t gender specific,” she wrote in a subsection tweet.
From her modelling days to “harrowing experiences” with some men in the entertainment industry, Niharika Singh bared it all in her #MeToo story.
Referring to popular actor Nawauddin Siddiqui as a “sexually repressed Indian man”, the Miss Lovely actress narrated her experience with the actor and their relationship.
Here is the post journalist Sandhya Menon posted on Twitter, divulging Niharika Singh's experience.
