From Malang, Love Aaj Kal to Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan; movies to hit theatres in February

The year witnessed a decent start in movies with films such as Chhapaak, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Panga, among others in January. Well, it's just the beginning, February has a lot more in its kitty. This month we will see films from all the genres from thriller to romantic to culture & society to drama and comedy.

Malang

The film helmed by Mohit Suri starring Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Anil Kapoor. The film is a romantic thriller where all the leads have an interesting character to play. The film will release on 7th February.

Shikara

Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film starring Aadil Khan and Sadia highlights the ordeal of Kashmiri Pandits who had to migrate from their home in the Valley. Through this film Vidhu wants to convey the message, “the only thing to hate is hate.” The film will hit the theatres on 7th Feb and will clash with Mohit Suri’s film Malang.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Hina Khan is making her debut with Vikram Bhatt’s film. The story is based on a cybercrime where a 19-year-old boy played by Rohan Shah stalks Hina after she declines his proposal. The film will clash with Malang and Shikara i.e the film is slated to release on 7th Feb.

Imtiaz Ali’s romantic drama starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan is all set to hit the theatres on Valentine’s Day. The film showcase the definition of love and how it changes over the decade. So all those who are planning to go out on a date this film is an easy pick for you all.

Bhoot: The Haunted Ship

For the first time, Karan Johar is venturing into the horror-thriller genre with his film Bhoot starring Vicky Kaushal. It is one of the most anticipated films wherein Vicky will be seen in all-new avatar while Bhumi Pednekar will have a chemo role in it. Helmed by Bhanu Pratap Singh the film will hit the theatres on 21st February.

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Jitendra Kumar is the most anticipated film which will highlight the love story of a gay couple and how they deal with their conservative families. The film also stars Panklhuri Awasthy, Sunita Rajwar, Manurishi Chadha, Maanvi Garoo and Neeraj Singh. The film will clash with Karan Johar’s Bhoot: The Haunted Ship i.e on 21st February.
