Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again held meeting with film industry celebrities at the official residence,7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi on Saturday. During the interaction with B-town celebs, PM Modi discussed his ideas and addressed film fraternity as the beholder of immense power.
He organized the meeting to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. From Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan to Sonam Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut, several celebs marked their presence in the event.
PM Modi hailed Gandhi’s simplicity and said, “Gandhi is synonymous with simplicity. His thoughts reverberate far and wide.”
During the event, the popular Bollywood figures who have graced the event were Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, directors Rajkumar Hirani, Kapil Sharma, Rajkumar Santoshi, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Nitesh Tiwari and producers Ekta Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Jayantilal Gada.
Apart from listening to PM Modi’s thoughts on Gandhi, B-town celebs didn’t miss the opportunity to capture the moment with Prime Minister in their smartphones.
Celebs have taken lots of photos with PM Modi which they shared on their social media.
Among all pictures, the one photo that has won the hearts of netizens was clicked by actress Jacqueline Fernandez. In the picture, PM Modi was seen with Bollywood queens Kangana, Ekta Kapoor, Wardah Khan Nadiadwala, and Ashwini.
Ekta also posted the image on her Twitter with the caption, “Women in the film with the honorable visionary #PrimeMinister.”
