Kamlesh Tiwari Murder: UP Police trace last location of assailants, say reports
Uttar Pradesh Police have traced the last location of the two shooters who killed Kamlesh Timari, Hindu Samaj party chief and former Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha leader.
As per the reports of India Today, the two assailants have been traced to Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
The Hindu Samaj party chief was assassinated on Friday afternoon. Since then, Police have begun the investigation and have nabbed several accused in the Kamlesh Tiwari murder case but the shooters who killed brutally stabbed and then, shot the activist, are still at large.
Now, UP police have found the last location of the shooters was Bareilly. As per the sources, the two assailants Ashfaq and Moinudding stayed in Bareilly for some time and then fled away.
Meanwhile, several police teams including UP Special Task Force (STF) and Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) have been trying to the nab the killers of Kamlesh Tiwari.
Earlier on Saturday, Maharashtra ATS arrested a man from Nagpur in connection with Kamlesh Tiwari’s murder.
The ATS officials said that they arrested the man based on the hints provided by the UP Police.
The arrested man was identified as Sayed Asim Ali, who had organized a protest against Tiwari in the past and he also released a warning against Tiwari via YouTube video, police told.
Earlier, UP police said that five accused have been arrested from Gujarat’s Surat, in connection with the murder of Tiwari.
CCTV footage showed the three accused being detained in Surat on Saturday.
