Woman Falls to Death After Playful Interaction with Colleague on Staircase Wall

Dombivali: A tragic incident occurred in Dombivali, Maharashtra, where a woman fell to her death from the third floor of a building while sitting on the parapet of a staircase.

CCTV footage captured the moment when Gudiya Devi, a cleaner in the building, was joking around with a colleague. The video shows her seated on the parapet when her colleague playfully hugs her, causing them both to lose balance. Despite efforts, Gudiya fell, while her colleague managed to regain his balance and stand back up.

The incident occurred at 2:40 pm on Tuesday, captured on surveillance footage. Following Gudiya Devi's fall from the third floor, security guards and building staff rushed to her aid.

The Manpada police have registered an accidental death report and are investigating further. "Nagina Devi lived with her family in the Pisavli area of Dombivli East and had two children, a son and a daughter. This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and the police are working to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fall," said a police officer.
