Bikers get lucky escape as they encounter tiger on road; watch viral video

Driving along a road that goes through a forest can be extremely tricky sometimes. Not only does the driver need to be aware, they have to keep a cool mind and quick reflexes if a wild animal appears on the road unexpectedly.

A now viral video posted by IFS officer Susanta Nanda displays one such incident where two men riding a bike were greeted by an unexpected friend.

First shared on Twitter, the viral video was filmed by a person sitting inside a car. As the clip proceeds, a bike with two riders on it approaches beside the car and stops suddenly as a tiger appears on the road. The rider quickly takes the bike backwards. The tiger stops to inspect the situation and, fortunately, goes back into the jungle.

“As long as one doesn’t have a back gear in the bike, use common sense in the back of your mind & drive slow in wild habitats,” read the caption.

Here's the video:

The video has so far garnered more than 108k views and several reactions. While some wrote how fortunate the bikers were, others pointed out that no vehicle should go at such a speed in a forest area.
