China is keen to have greater cooperation with the United Nations to ensure world peace, stability, prosperity and cooperation.
This message was conveyed by Premier Li Keqiang during a meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation.
"We are willing to play our role on the platforms such as the UN to implement the 2030 sustainable development agenda, and make concerted efforts toward world peace, stability and prosperity," the Global Times quoted Premier Li, as saying.
Guterres described China as a vital pillar for safeguarding multilateralism and free trade, and for advancing globalization in an orderly manner.
