The cold wave has tightened its grip in North India, and people are finding it challenging to travel in bone-chilling winds. Those who ride two-wheelers in these extreme weather conditions are directly exposed to the chills.
Similarly, the teeth-tethering winds forced a student in Dehradun, who was getting late for his classes, to stop his bike and stand in a corner. The student doesn’t have a helmet or a woollen cap to cover his head, due to which he was not able to ride in the chilly winds.
That's when a Samaritan came across to help the student and offered him a helmet to protect him from bone-chilling cold.
Sharing the image, The ‘Helmet Man of India’ described the incident on Twitter. The man claimed that he saw a boy on Dehradun road who was constantly trying to cover his ears with his hands while riding a bike in extreme cold weather. When the boy submitted to the cold and stopped his bike, Raghavendra spotted him and offered him a helmet.
"Due to the cold winds on the roads of Dehradun, a student was repeatedly covering his ears with his hands, then after giving up, he parked the bike on the way. I was shivering due to cold, I had an old helmet lying in my car and put it on while introducing it. Wanted to touch my feet, I hugged him," Raghavendra explained the incident in a tweet.
