A video of two Kerala doctors dancing to a popular Malayam song "Pala Palli Tirupalli" is going crazily viral on the internet. The video was shot in a tribal hospital of Kerala’s Wayanad district. No denying that the catchy beats of the song will make anybody dance but, these doctors have taken the internet by storm through their dance moves.
Even Kerala Health Minister Veena George liked their performance and shared the video on her Facebook page. Praising doctors - Superintendent Dr Savan Sara Mathew and Medical Officer Dr Safeej Ali of Nalloornad Cancer Treatment Center, George said that team in the hospital provides ‘excellent service to patients’. “Both are excellent doctors and great dancers,” she wrote.
The song "Pala Palli Tirupalli" is from movie Kaduva, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. The movie, which was released in July, sparked controversy as some scenes were claimed to be insensitive towards differently-abled children.
Amid criticism actor Prithviraj Sukumaran offered a public apology and the makers also removed the controversial scene from the movie.
Directed by Shaji Kailas, Kaduva also stars Vivek Oberoi in a pivotal role. Actor Samyukhta Menon was seen as a female lead in the movie.
Doctor Savan Sara Mathew also thanked the Kerala Health Minister for praising their efforts, “Thank you so much Madam, for the support and love. It means a lot to us.” Since being shared the video click has garnered over 5 lakh views and 17, 000 likes.
