Alligators are serious predators, built to kill without showing mercy to their prey. Water is their territory and anyone who comes near becomes their potential target.
Unfortunately, some humans have the tendency to invite danger by teasing nature's predators to showcase their bravery, which can result in severe injuries or even loss of life.
This undated video, which has gone viral on the internet, is another example of risking one's life for no reason.
The 18-second clip shows an airboat guide feeding a giant wild alligator to impress tourists. The guide leans in close to the alligator and feeds it while the tourists record the spectacle. On the second attempt, the giant reptile attacks the guide by grabbing the hand he was using to feed it. The airboat guide immediately opens the alligator's jaws to retrieve his hand.
