Watch: Furious mama elephant fights crocodile to save baby
Parents love their children and can go to any length to protect them and animals are no exception. This clip is proof of that.
Indian Forest Service (IFS) Susanta Nanda, who is quite active on the social media platforms and often treat his followers with amazing wildlife videos, shared a clip in which a mama elephant can be seen fighting a crocodile to save its baby calf.
In the 29-second clip showcases a mama elephant with its baby calf, who is taking in a muddy pool. Suddenly a crocodile emerges from the water and tries to attack the calf. The mama elephant in no time attacks the reptile and tries to smash it with her big feet. The crocodile can be seen running away as the furious jumbo searches for the reptile to smash it.

IFS Nanda shared the clip with the caption, “The extent to which elephants can go in protecting their calves is mind boggling. Here is a small incidence. The Crocodile had to surrender.”
Since being shared the clip has garnered more than 50,000 views and over 1,200 likes. The Twitter users praised the elephant for saving its calf.
