Jungle is a dangerous place full of predators, and ‘the survival of the fittest’ is the only law that applies there. But have you ever imagined how animals maintain harmony amid the continuous chaos of ‘hunt or be hunted’?
Well, a video clip shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda can give us an idea. The clip showcases how a mighty tiger hid and snuggled in the long grass and gave way to an elephant herd that got panicked after getting the predator’s scent.
In the clip, a full-grown tiger can be seen walking in a jungle when suddenly it hears trumpets of elephants and crouches in long grass to give way to the gentle giants. The tuskers can be seen crossing the pathway one by one while the tiger hides in the grass.

The IFS officer shared the clip on Twitter with the caption, “This is how animals communicate and maintain harmony… Elephant trumpets on smelling the tiger. The king gives way to the titan herd.”
Animals don’t hunt for fun; they hunt to survive. They respect each other's space and restrict themselves from straying into each other's territories.
Since being shared, the clip has accumulated over 111,000 views and more than 2,400 likes. Twitter users praised the tiger for giving way to the elephant herd, while some joked and said the big cat was playing ‘the floor is lava’ game as it only stepped on the grass patch while crossing the pathway.

If anyone noticed- The king, very sophisticatedly skipped to step on wet mud and preferred to step on the grass instead.
