Viral Video: Mother lion saves cub from angry father
Every mother, whether human or animal, loves her children and can risk her life for them. It’s a fact that motherly love is the purest form of love.
Speaking of motherly love, a video of a lioness and her cub has gone viral on the internet like a wild fire.
The 15-second clip begins with a lion who can be seen playing with its cub. Then, the cub starts annoying the big cat. The lion doesn’t like it and charges at the cub with its pointed claws. Immediately, the mother lion reaches her son and saves him from his furious dad. The lioness then checks her cub for any injuries and licks him to calm him down.

If the lioness had not reached her cub, it would have been the last day of the little lion.
The clip was shared on Twitter by @ TheFigen with the caption, “When the baby lion's father got angry, his mother immediately ran to her cub! Mother heart!”.
Since being shared, the clip has garnered over 1.1 million views and more than 19,100 likes. Twitter users praised the lioness for saving the little cub.
