Viral Video: Elderly man escapes death with a back step
A video of an elderly man escaping death by taking a step back is going viral on the internet with people hailing him for his luck.
An undated CCTV footage shows an elderly man standing on the sidewalk beside a road, probably waiting for someone. Suddenly, speeding car that lost control comes towards him. The man spots the car in time with his amazing reflexes and takes a step backward, which eventually saves his life. The car smashes a slope, bounces, and falls on the road.

The man was miraculously unhurt because of his amazing reflexes and quick decision making.
The 20-second clip was shared on Twitter by an account named @Topvideos with the caption ‘the flip flop is safe’.
Since being shared the clip has garnered over 69,000 views and more than 700 likes. The Twitter users hail the man’s luck and commented that he should buy a lottery ticket.
