A man in the Jhunjhunu district arranged a ‘helicopter palanquin’ to bring home his beloved wifey.
The groom - Tushar Soni - wished that he should bring the bride - Annu - from her in-laws' house in a helicopter to his house. He told his 'unique' wish to the family members, to which they agreed.
Tushar and Annu’s wedding took place on November 4, and the ‘Vidai’ happened on November 5. After some ‘vidai’ rituals, the bride and her husband left in the helicopter from Singhana village to Nagaon, where Tushar has his home.
To see the unusual ‘vidai’ a huge crowd from other villages had gathered. Some people even took selfies with the helicopter.
Tushar, who is an engineer, told that his ‘unique’ wish was fulfilled by his father.
Before the marriage, Tushar expressed his wish to both family members, and administrative permission was obtained for the helicopter.
Interestingly, the use of helicopters in wedding ceremonies has grown in recent years in Rajasthan.
In Ajitpura, a bride's father organised her spectacular 'vidai' in 2019 in a helicopter.
