In a heartwarming video, a traffic constable turned messiah when he saved a man's life by immediately performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a busy street in Hyderabad. The man had suffered a massive cardiac arrest in the Rajendranagar area on February 24, leaving people stunned as they watched him collapse in front of them.
As bystanders called for an ambulance, traffic constable Rajasekhar sprang into action, administering CPR without wasting a moment.
Constable Rajasekhar is posted at the Rajendranagar Police Station and was managing traffic when the incident occurred. The man was rushed to a nearby hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.

Telangana Health Minister Harish Rao Thanneeru has praised the traffic cop for his quick thinking and life-saving actions. "Highly appreciate traffic police Rajashekhar of Rajendranagar PS for doing a commendable job in saving precious life by immediately doing CPR," Minister Thanneeru tweeted.
Due to the increasing incidence of sudden cardiac arrest, the Telangana Government has announced plans to conduct CPR training for all frontline employees to enable more lives to be saved.
"The #Telangana Govt will conduct CPR training for all frontline employees and workers next week in view of increasing reports of such incidents," Thanneeru added in his tweet.

The quick thinking of Constable Rajasekhar undoubtedly saved the man's life.
