A disturbing video that is now viral and has been shared by many verified accounts on Twitter displays forces of Romania and Poland kicking and thrashing stranded Indian students, girls and boys alike.

The video allegedly recorded by a student exhibits stranded Indian students sitting on a road, reportedly at the Ukraine-Poland border. In the clip, border forces can be seen kicking and harassing Indian students. Some posts also suggest that African students were also beaten and kicked by the border forces.

Many students at the Ukraine-Poland border have shared videos alleging that Ukrainian forces are forcing them back into Ukraine from the border of Poland by firing shots in the air and trying to drive their cars into the crowd. Other clips show forces at the borders are beating Indian students, however, it's still unclear which country they belong to.

A Malayali student, identified as Angel can be heard saying in a video that she and her friend were jostled and thrashed. Adding that the cops tried to ram their cars into the group of students. “This is too bad, this is not the way that the Ukraine government or military should treat foreign citizens. This is not how we expect help," she said.

Other images and videos displayed a wave of students waiting at the border to cross over. Many students have seeked refuge in bunkers and thousands of them are trying to cross over to other neighbouring nations.

With Ukraine shutting down its airspace following Russian invasion, the Indian government sent teams to the land borders with Ukraine in Hungary, Poland, the Slovak Republic, and Romania to help in the evacuation process.
