Police have arrested the accused men who brutally thrashed the bank employee, reported Times Now.
A case has been registered under SC-ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act) in Nadiad Town Police Station and further investigation is underway.
The victim employee has been identified as Manish Dhangar, who is posted with Nadiad-Kapadwanj branch.
In the complaint, the victim employee stated that a customer named as Samarth Brahmbhatt reached his desk and started abusing and thrashing him.
"The accused slapped me 2-3 times and even kicked me. When other bank employees tried to stop Samarth, his friend Parth who was also with the accused, also kicked me," Dhangar told police, reported Times Now.
Dhangar, who handles the loan desk at the bank, further said that the accused had taken out a loan from the bank and became angry due to the reminders from the bank to submit a copy of his house insurance policy.
During the audit, the bank discovered that the accused had failed to provide a copy of his house insurance policy, which was required for further procedures since his house was not collateral for the loan.
