Delhi wakes upto cold morning on Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 5.8 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature at 15 degree Celsius. As per IMD, humidity level was recorded at 91 per cent at 8.30 am at the Safdarjung Observatory was 800 metres during the same period.
Dense to very dense Fog observed at isolated pockets over UP and Dense fog at isolated pockets over Assam & Meghalaya. As per Indian Railways official, 26 trains have been delayed. Raxaul-Anand Vihar Sadbhawana Express is running behind its schedule by 5 hours, followed by Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar Vikramshila Express is delayed by 4 hours.

IMD has predicted partly cloudy skies throughout the day. While the Air Quality Index of the city was in the 'very poor' category with 302. An AQI between 201 and 300 is considered 'poor', 301-400 'very poor' and 401-500 'severe', while the AQI above 500 falls in the severe plus category.
According to the Met department, the western disturbance is likely to raise the maximum and minimum temperatures to 20 and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively, by January 13. Forecast for Saturday shows moderate fog in the morning with a maximum and minimum of 17 and 5 degrees Celsius, respectively. "There will be clear skies and sunny conditions during the day," a Met official said.
