Delhi-NCR residents woke up to light rains on Wednesday morning with minimum temperature settling at 11.0 degree Celsius and maximum temperature 16.0 degree Celsius. Due to bad weather traffic snarls at multiple intersections.
As per IMD, heavy rainfall is expected throughout the day with possibility of hailstorm in isolated areas. Dense fog is also expected by Friday and Saturday in some parts of the city.
According to railway officials, 16 trains are running late over the Northern Railways owing to the bad weather. Even Delhi airport officials took to their Twitter handle to inform the fliers,"Due to bad weather, some flight operations might be affected, for further information kindly get in touch with the airline concerned.”

The Air Quality Index was recorded at ‘satisfactory’ category. An AQI between 201 and 300 is considered 'poor', 301-400 'very poor' and 401-500 'severe', while the AQI above 500 falls in the 'severe plus' category. By the end of the day Delhi-NCR, parts of Punjab Haryana might witness light rainfall.
