UPSC CISF Notification 2018: Check out the detailed information for Assistant Commandant posts

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Assistant Commandants (Executive) with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on the official website. Therefore, candidates can apply for the posts released by the UPSC.

According to the official notification, the interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts. The examination for the posts of Assistant Commandants (Executive) with the CISF will be conducted on 12th August 2018. For detailed notification, candidates are advised to check on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

However, in the notification released by UPSC in January, the commission had stated about 29 vacancies.

To get selected for the posts, candidates will have to clear the written test followed by a physical and medical standard test as well as a personality test.

There is a total of 398 posts has been released which includes BSF (60), CRPF (179), CISF (84), ITBP (46) and SSB (29).

Age limit:

The minimum age limit for the posts is 20 years while the maximum age is 25 years. While the age relaxation rules will be as per the government norms.

Educational qualification:

Candidates must have the graduation degree from a government recognised university, institute or college. The candidates with a NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate will be given preference as this will be considered during the interview or personality test, but this should be treated as a compulsory qualification.

Application fees:

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 200, but female/SC/ST candidates would be exempted from payment of fees.
