A cargo fight of the Saudia Airline made an emergency landing at the Kolkata airport on April 15 after a windshield cracked mid-air.
According to Kolkata airport officials, the pilot reported to the control tower that the windshield cracked midair and obtained permission for an emergency landing.

The airport authorities alerted the ground staff to make necessary arrangements for the emergency landing.
The cargo aircraft landed safely at the airport around 12:02 pm.
On April 13, a flight from Dublin Airport forced to make an emergency landing after a flock of birds sucked into one of the engines midair.
The flight departed from Dublin Airport’s North runway at around 11.12am, but soon after the incident, it was forced to make a U-turn and land on the South runway just 15 minutes later. All passengers including crew members landed safely.
