It was a hot, humid Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 29.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
Relative humidity was 79 per cent at 8.30 AM, said a MeT department official. "Generally cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder or lightning is forecast for the day," he said.
The maximum temperature will hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
On Wednesday, the capital city had recorded a high of 38.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, and a low of 28.2 degrees Celsius.
