Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Wednesday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 24.2 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average. Humidity was recorded at 58 per cent. The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundery developments towards the afternoon and evening.
The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 38 degrees Celsius. The temperature is likely to rise over the next few days, a MeT Department official said. He said there is a possibility of thundery development on June 24 and rain on June 25.
The national capital recorded a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 20.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
