The grand and colourful Kumbhalgarh Festival started at Kumbhalgarh fort on December 1, located 84 kms north of Udaipur in the wilderness. Folk artists from across the state are enthralling visitors with their talent.
On day 1, several events were held for the visitors, including the Padharo Mhare Desh program, the Sahariya dance based on the tribal dance of Gopal Dhanuka and his party, Kachhi Ghodi dance, and folk songs, among other events.
Surendra from Churu performed the Chang dance, which is performed during the Holi festival.
Foreign tourists also danced with the folk artists.
Kumbhalgarh Festival will conclude on December 3.
