Women Empowerment Team Returns from Five-Day Thailand Tour

Bengaluru: A team of women from the Bengaluru North Ladies Wing of JITO, led by President Bindu Raizonsi, returned to Bengaluru after a five-day tour of Thailand. During their visit, the team attended the first Ladies Wing JBN Referral Meet in Thailand.

The team also had an inter-chapter meeting with the Thailand chapter, where they were welcomed by Thailand Chapter Ladies Wing Vice President Archana Shah, General Secretary Shweta Jain, and other members.


Archana Shah briefed the team on the community harmony, coordination, and unity among the Jain community in Thailand. Shweta Jain shared the activities of JITO and informed the team that JBN empowers women economically and makes them self-sufficient. She added that the referral group provides education on presentation, communication, and business skills, helping women achieve their goals.

Bindu Raizonsi shared the outline of JBN and assured her support for future collaborations. Suman Vedamurthy introduced the team members.

During their tour, the team visited the Grand Palace, White Temple, Jain and Buddhist temples, and other sites in Thailand. Nita Gadiya and Sangeeta Mutha provided valuable assistance during the trip.

The tour was a significant step towards strengthening ties between the Bengaluru and Thailand chapters of JITO, promoting women's empowerment and community building.
