Tel Aviv [Israel]: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned Iran’s missile strikes on Israel, warning that Iran had made a grave mistake and would face consequences.

Firm Response to Attacks
At the start of a Security Cabinet meeting, Netanyahu declared that any attack on Israel would be met with a forceful counter-attack. Posting on X, he stated, "Iran made a big mistake tonight - and it will pay for it."

Condolences to Victims
Netanyahu also offered condolences to the families of those killed in a terrorist attack in Jaffa, linking the incident to Tehran, and wishing the wounded a swift recovery.

Tehran Warned
He emphasized Israel’s resolve, noting that previous leaders, such as Sinwar, Deif, Nasrallah, and Mohsen, failed to understand Israel's determination. "Apparently, there are those in Tehran who do not understand this either. They will."

Israel’s Defence System Praised
Netanyahu highlighted that the Iranian missile attack was thwarted by Israel’s advanced air defence system and praised the IDF’s efforts, while also thanking the US for its support.
