FIFA World Cup 2018: Poland sets new Football 'keepy-uppy' World Record, watch video

The World famous football show kicked off in Russia. Fans across the globe ready to witness the battle for the most awaited covated FIFA World Cup Trophy.

Every corner of the earth is buzzing with the theme song of FIFA WorldCup 2018. In between this major event, Poland set a new Guinness World record for the largest number of people juggling footballs at the same time for 10 seconds on thursday.


The new Guinness World record was set by 1,444 Polish football fans who  are well dressed-up in neon yellow to juggle soccer balls of the same colour in the southern city of Kraków.

According to the Guinness World record website, Italian football fans set the previous record with 1,406 people "during an event organised... in Caerano di San Marco, Italy, on May 7, 2016."

Top stars like Argentine Lionel Messi, Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Egypt's Mohamed Salah will all be taking part in the tournament and looking to guide their respective teams to glory.

The quadrennial month-long event will see 32 nations, divided into eight groups, competing in 64 games over 32 days and fighting it out for the coveted trophy.

The matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be played out in 12 stadiums, located in 11 cities and spread over 1,800 miles across Russia.
