The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started its recruitment examination for the post of Multi-tasking Staff (MTS) from August 2, 2019.
Candidates who will be going to appear for the examination should read the important notification released on the official website.
Currently, SSC is conducting MTS Tier I examination across the nation and the examination process will conclude on August 6, 2019.

"It is reiterated that the candidates of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2019 while appearing in the Computer Based Examination, must carry an original Photo Identity Card having the Date of Birth as printed on the Admission Certificate. "
" If the Photo Identity Card does not have the Date of Birth then the candidate must carry an additional certificate in original as proof of their Date of Birth. "
"In case of mismatch in the Date of Birth mentioned in the Admission Certificate and photo ID/the certificate brought in support of Date of Birth, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination."
This year, SSC will be going to recruit at least 10,000 people under this recruitment drive and candidates who will qualify will be posted at any location across the nation.
SSC MTS salary:
Selected aspirants will get a pay band Rs 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs1800.
Important dates:
- SSC MTS Tier I Computer Based Examination: 02.08.2019 to 06.09.2019
- Date of Tier-II Examination (Descriptive Paper): 17.11.2019
Check SSC MTS Tier I exam pattern:
MTS Tier I exam will comprise of total 100 questions and the duration of the exam is 90-minutes. The question paper will have four sections:
- General English
- General Intelligence & Reasoning
- Numerical Aptitude
- General Awareness.
*Note: There will be negative marking of 0.25marks for each wrong answer.
