IBPS SO Recruitment 2019: Vacancies out for over 1000 specialist officers posts; read official details

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS0 has released the official notification for the post of IBPS SO on its official website. The recruitment to the post of Specialist Officers will be done in 2020. However, the registration for the post will begin from November 6, 2019.

The last date for the registration of over 1000 post is November 26, 2019.

Candidates who want to apply for the vacancies of the posts including I.T. Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer, can visit the official website at ibps.in.

As per the notification, the preliminary examinations for the post of SO will be held on December 28 and December 29, 2019.

The examinations for the post of Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari will be based on the question from three different sections i.e. English Language, Reasoning, General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry. While for the post of IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer questions will be a frame from English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

To qualify the exam candidates will have to score minimum cut-off marks.

Candidates who will qualify the first stage exam will be eligible for the IBPS SO Main exam which will be held on January 25, 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview which will be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/ UT.

This year, IBPS has notified a total of 1145 vacancies in various public sector banks across India. Out of 1145 vacancies, 670 are for Agricultural Field Officer, 20 for HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I), 76 for IT Officer (Scale-I), 310 for Marketing Officer, 60 for Law Officers and remaining for Rajbasha Adhikari.
