Getting a perfect tattoo is the dream of many people, after all, you are going to stick it on your body for life. Imagine, if your tattoo artist is unable to make it what you want on your body. Of course, you will be left heartbroken or maybe you want to punish him or her. The same thing has happened with a woman in Idaho, whose tattoo artist misunderstood her instructions and inked a wrong design.
The woman identified as Izzy from Boise in Idaho, who was on holiday and was staying at her friend’s house in Pittsburgh. She went to a parlour and requested the artist to draw an illustration of a mobile phone, in homage to Mac Miller’s 2011 track Missed Calls.
However, Izzy left in shock after seeing the inking and left shattered after her the tattoo artist had completely misunderstood her instructions.
Sharing her ordeal on TikTok from her handle @izzy38255, Izzy said, “I just got the worst f***king tattoo. I got my cellphone from Mac Miller and told her I wanted it 2 by 3 size. She tattooed the f**king 2 by 3. How do I fix that?"
In the video, she also showed the close-up shot of the tattoo which revealed that the artist had in fact written ‘2x3’ on the screen of the mobile phone, without realizing it was a size reference.
Ever since the video is being circulated on social media, many TikTok users asked her how she didn’t notice the extra writing on the stencil. However, in the follow-up clip, Izzy explained that it was her mistake.
"I know I'm stupid, I know it was my fault but I have 16 tattoos like I've been through this before. I live in Idaho and I'm in Pittsburgh for the week so I went to the shop that I didn't know," she explained.
"My friend that I'm visiting here has been to that shop before and never had a bad experience so we made the appointment and it was supposed to be fine. The 2 by 3 I didn't see it on the stencil when she first drew it up."
