A fun time for people in China who were enjoying in the water park turned into a nightmare after a high wave in the water jolted them. A scary video is doing the round on the social media in which people can be seen injured to artificial wave.
As per the reports, the reason behind this mishap was due to the malfunctioning in a wave pool in Shuiyun Water Park in Manchuria, China which left 44 people injured.
The shocking video was shared by a Twitter user, Sanjeev Goyal and captioned, “Tsunami in water-park? Yes, it can happen. 44 injured in Shuiyun Water Park, China as wave-machine malfunctioned and Tsunami wave generated.”

The horrifying 10-second-clip showed that the mini tsunami came in which hundreds of people were enjoying and all of sudden the wave took along with it. In the video, it can be seen how the ferocious wave carried people along with itself and thrown them on to the pavement.
The officials at the Shuiyum Water Park also cleared that the mishap took place due to a technical fault and because the ride operator was inebriated which some reports claimed.
After the incident, the water park was closed and an investigation is still going on.
