A video of tourists chasing an elephant is going viral on social media. The video is said to be from a national park in Sri Lanka.
It has been shared by the Indian Forest Services officer, Surendra Mehra on Twitter. The video shows a group of tourists in their vehicle followed an elephant walking in the national park. They were seen clicking pictures, chattering, and also laughing while sitting in the vehicle. However, their enjoyment turned into a nightmare after the elephant got irritated with their activities.
A few moments later, the elephant turned back and started chasing the tourist vehicle. The tourists inside the vehicle were heard screaming and the driver can be seen reversing the vehicle as the animal began chasing them.
Luckily, they got escaped from the elephant as the driver changed the direction while the elephant moved the other way.

Such incidents are becoming the new normal.
It’s just a matter of time before things go out of hand and bad news starts pouring in.

The video teaches a lesson that one should refrain from intruding into areas where animals are living peacefully because anything can happen if they get disturbed.
