A tourist in South Carolina captured a rare scene on his camera while standing near docks in Hilton Head. In the video, a shark can be seen attacking the alligator inside the water.
The video was recorded by Cory Conlon, who was filming the alligator who was enjoying the sunlight silently near some docks in Hilton Head. Moments later, a shark began circling underneath the gator.
The viral clip shows the shark swimming around the reptile and then bit its leg. After the shark attacked, the alligator gave a startled jump. However, it didn’t get injured in the surprising attack.
The video was shared on Fox 13 News Facebook page along with a caption, “HE NIPPED HIM!' As tourists in South Carolina tossed some snacks to an alligator near the docks, a hungry shark went in for a bite -- and instead bit the gator's foot!”
