Scary Video: Incredible Reticulated Python climbs a wall to Capture Prey

The Reticulated Python, one of the longest and heaviest snakes on the planet, is an incredible sight to behold. In a video shared on Twitter by Susanta Nanda, an Indian Forest Service officer, a Reticulated Python is seen climbing a wall to capture its prey.

This magnificent creature is known for its constricting ability, which allows it to kill its prey by squeezing them to death.

Size and Strength of Reticulated Python
The Reticulated Python is one of the largest snakes in the world, with the longest ever recorded measuring up to 33 feet in length. They are also one of the heaviest snakes, with some individuals weighing up to 165 pounds. Their strength is also remarkable.

According to Nanda's tweet, the python's squeezing force is about 14 PSI, which is enough to kill human beings.

Hunting and Diet
As seen in the video, the Reticulated Python is an excellent climber, allowing it to reach its prey, which can include birds, mammals, and even reptiles. Once it has captured its prey, it wraps its body around it and squeezes it until it suffocates. The python then swallows the prey whole, using its powerful jaw to stretch its mouth around even the largest of meals.
