OMG! CCTV footage shows balcony full of people collapsed in a second; know what happens next
A terrifying video of the accident has surfaced on the Internet which showed a Malibu beach house balcony packed with people collapsed onto the rocks and sand below.
The whole incident was captured by a CCTV installed on another balcony. The clip shows the party-goers were enjoying on the balcony and suddenly it breaks off from the house and falls several feet below.
In the accident, around 15 people hosting a birthday party on Saturday on the beach house, when it collapsed, fire officials said.

Four people were hospitalized, two of them were said to be in critical condition, and five others were treated at the scene. No one was killed.
In the video, a man can be seen holding the pipe of the other balcony, and then he went inside the room.

An eyewitness told CBSLA, “We heard a crack, and I literally saw all my best friends and my girlfriend fall 15-feet to the rocks. The deck just literally gave out. It could’ve been a lot worse, but it’s pretty awful.”
“It was a freak accident. I don’t know how that happens … the deck literally just gave out,” he added.
According to the NY Post, the owner of the house told that she rented the house for the weekend with a limit of six people and warned them not to throw any party. She was informed by her neighbours that 30 people were at the property. After knowing about it, the landlord started calling the tenants and repeatedly asked the guests to leave her property but they didn’t listen to her. Around 15 minutes after the last call, the deck full of people got collapsed.
As per the KABC report, investigators told that the balcony got collapsed due to the integrity of the deck and the weight of too many people. Meanwhile, the fire department has declared the house uninhabitable.
